Excel 2016 data labels not updating is zoloft activating or sedating
Here, Office Tab supports similar processing, which allow you to browse multiple Excel workbooks or Word documents in one Excel window or Word window, and easily switch between them by clicking their tabs.
If you have the following range of data and column chart, now you want the chart update automatically when you enter new information.
When I update the query and new data is brought in, the chart data labels do not automatically update and require me to go to Chart Options/Data Labels and deselect then reselect "Category Name" and "Percentage" to force them to update and then I have to reformat them, etc, etc.
Am I doing something wrong or does excel really not update these values on the fly?
In Excel 2007, 2010 or 2013, you can create a table to expand the data range, and the chart will update automatically. Select the data range and click Table under Insert tab, see screenshot: 2.
In the Create Table dialog box, if your data has headers, please check My table has headers option, then click OK. And the data range is formatted as a table, see screenshot: 4.
But you need to change or edit the number of the data every day, in this case, you have to update the chart manually so it includes the new data. All the data in this table are lookups from other tables if that matters. The issue is: When I update the table with new values, the data points get added on automatically to the chart, but the labels show as blank as shown in the image. The chart includes a data label that picks up the content of a cell where the label is created by the same VBA code. The lines on the chart update when the inputs are changed and the code is run but the data label on one point, used to flag a key point on the curve, remains locked at the text it contained when the data series was formatted using the Select Data dialog.
